Our flagship wine. These grapes were planted and grown with the intention of creating this wine, and it is a reflection of the volcanic soil our of organic-farmed estate. Vinified in our classic CDC practice: open-air fermentation, basket-pressed directly into the barrel, where it matures on lees for 18 months and is racked once before bottling. CDC wines don't receive any additives or undergo any filtration or fining during the winemaking or bottling process.
This wine displays vibrant aromas of raspberries and black currants. Its bold, mature palate has good structure, a testament to the wine’s excellent aging.
